Lisa is new IRP Regional Director
Lisa Jarvis has recently been appointed as a Regional Director of the IRP (the REC’s newly launched Institute of Recruitment Professionals) in the South East region.
Recruitment is a fast paced, dynamic industry that has grown in the UK by 635% over the last 15 years. The market place during this time has changed significantly, and the choice and variations of recruitment specialisms that now exist is vast and still growing.
For 80 years, the REC in its various forms has been proud to represent both corporate businesses and individual recruiters.
More than ever it is vital that in addition to the corporate support that thousands of recruitment companies rely on as REC members year after year, that each and every individual involved in the profession of recruitment has membership of a reputable professional institute, that recognises and promotes their own high standards and brand.
Speaking about her recent appointment Lisa commented “The aim of this voluntary role, which I am undertaking in conjunction with running my company Permanent Solutions Direct, is to uplift the image of the recruitment industry through local representation and engagement with existing members of the IRP across the South East of England. I am also working closely with the HR community to promote membership of, and the services offered by, the IRP to in-house recruitment professionals”.
