Lisa Jarvis, owner of Permanent Solutions Direct, was delighted to be crowned winner of the “Eileen Simpson Award for Outstanding Contribution” in front of an audience of more than 320 people at the glittering Institute of Recruitment Professionals awards ceremony in London last week.

Lisa’s 20 year career in the recruitment industry has seen many highlights including turning around a Select office from threatened closure to healthy profit within a 12 month period whilst in her first managerial position, also achieving profitable status by the end of the first year of setting up her own business in 2005. Lisa has used her vast knowledge and experience to add value to the industry; working closely with the REC to promote professional and ethical recruitment practice she has recently been appointed a Regional Director for the IRP to assist on the journey towards achieving chartered status for the IRP. Lisa is also involved with her local authority on the Business Mentoring programme at local senior schools, using this as an opportunity to promote the recruitment industry as a career of choice.
